History
McDonough Contracting was established in Mataura, Southland in 1990. The primary business undertaken in the beginning included Trenching, Excavating, Thrust Boring, Irrigation and Effluent Schemes. This has since diversified into Vegetation Control, Driveway Construction, Concrete Works, Pole removal and Traffic Management Services and Signage.
Originally starting as an owner-operator, we are now proud to say that we employee 34 staff spread between our Mataura and Dunedin branches.
